Hey, so my xbox 360 has a new problem..i called xbox’s hotline and they didnt ttell me shit…so what;s wrong with my xbox is that i turn it no with the disc in it..and the motor tries to read it and it doesnt read it? no error message pops up it just says to play this disc please put in an xbox 360 console..? hahah i need help witht his so if anyone knows how to fix it PLEASE message me!

guys, if this doesn’t work for you all, then problem is not with a dirty laser. There might be other methods to try to fix this disc error, one of it should work.

Can you replace DVD drives? I have one which seems to be damaged and another that works perfectly. ANYONE. HELP IF YOU CAN.
Sadly, I couldn’t fix it. I had to drain my fuckin bank account and get a new xbox. If you live near a game crazy, you can get a used core model for about $180. That’s including tax. Sad thing is…I paid all that money and I really don’t use it all that much…friggin rip off. MS should have made a console that would work…espicially for the $400 that I paid.

i used to get that stupid message. and i did this and it worked. it can read disks now but. my 360 still scratches it own disks so i still cant play. im trying so hard to find a solution

the scratches come from the lens because there is no little rubber on the lens. when you open a CD-ROM drive you see on the lens a little rubber. the little rubber make no scratches on the CD. when a hard lens is on the CD he will make scratches

Could you use a cloth or sumfin if u didnt hav ne foam lying around?
the foam wont leave any bits of fibre or scratch the lense u should be able to get hold of some from packaging rather cheeply or ask a friend if they have any
