can some1 help me? i have a xbox 360 and it freezes extremaly badly. i would turn it on and for gods sake it would freeze be4 it would say “Xbox 360″ thats how bad it freezes. i have an hd tv, and i dont know if thats why it freezes. please help. is it the 360 or the hd tv? i called microsoft cause my dad was at work, and i was soooo pissed i couldnt take it, and i demanded a new 360 and they said, Srry thats not our policy. just send it in. i got pissed. I’ve had my elite since 12-07 and the only problem I’ve had was the rare one lit up quadrant that was easily resolved by restarting the XBOX..

i had my pro sence 2007 no problms till 2 weeks ago it started oerheating abnormaly its always face up and cooling is always there but one day it got the 3 rings of death so i just baught a new 360

just bought 360 elite in late april and was assured if manufactured after oct of 08 it would not get the rrod!! after only 2 months with VERY little play it got the rrod! because i didnt buy the xtended warrentee i am forced to send it in to xbox! at least if i would have bought it at walmart i could have exchanged it up to a yr….but i bought it at best buy!! my mistake!!

or….if it over heats stick the WHOLE, yes whole xbox in a big plastic bag and stick it in the freezer for about 10-15 mins…but it must be on its side or upside down with no CD in it, same way to temporairly fix a fried computer HDD to get ur data. This will allow everything in the xbox to cool down. U can also take an aircan and use the “straw” attachment to clear any dust/dirt in the vent of the back of the xbox allowing greater air flow from fans, the can MUST be blowing air out the straw

I don’t understand. I have a 360 pro 60GB and its been fine and all the sudden it wont turn on. No rrod. No power brick failure. It just wont turn on. I tried plugging it in to my friends house and the brick was actually Flashing! I have no idea what to do
