    This actually worked for me. I had to perform it 3 times at first, and then the next day it had the RRoD again, so I had to perform it 5 times actually. However I think the trick is once it starts working after this start playing a game, and while the GPU is really nice and toasty after working hard on a game (while still on) press down on that same area the GPU is in like you do here. For me that’s what has kept it running I think, for the week or so before I’ve gone on holiday without it…:’(

    the towel trick doesn’t void your warrenty i did it at least 10 times before i sent it in and they gave me a new one no questions asked

    mine went off a month ago, i started so much shit on the phone to them, saying that a month ago it was their fault now its mine. i said if i pay them £80 is their a guarantee it wont happen again and he said.. mmmm and put me on hold haha pathetic i can actullay see why people hate microsoft windows the way i hate the 360 now.. aw well plugged in old xbox tiger woods 05 babyyyy haha

    i did it, it works but i bought a Vornado mini fan and took the bottom honeycomb plate off and put the fan directly where the honeycomb was and now its running no problem.

    Hey just tried it and sure enough this worked thanks man
    heated it up 20 minutes pushed on it up and down for a minute checked it out and sure enough i been down 3 months and now back in buisness

    this is bullshyt!!!!!!!!! it did work for a 3 months but got red lughts again, i went to a repair shop and it can no longer be repaired because of pressure on xclamps, pliz dont try this!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
