it fix’s it for a tempory time only… Its not fully fixed it will just brake even more..! so just send it off

don’t be fucking lazy and instead of using towel trick that fucks your xbox, try x-clamping it, it works a lot better for a lot longer.

how long did it last for you, before it failed again?

my little brother today was playing COD around 1 p.m and all of a sudden the screen turned black and there it was… the red ring of death. he put it away in a cabinet (where we put our games and everything) i got home at 9pm from 6 flags and turned on my xbox and it was gone… how wierd is that? will this ever happen again??????

yes it will this is somewhat similar 2 the towel trick which is in fact a very temporary fix but if u send it 2 xbox they use the permanent fix

3 rings does not mean it is overheating, something is wrong with either your power supply OR your actual Xbox.
