I take it that the led is showing red constantly?
If so then adaptor is working but not connecting to your network.
Check that your network ID is been broadcast and not hidden.
Clear all network setting within xbox and the do a fresh network scan.
Select connection and enter your network password or encryption key.
Please make sure that this is entered correctly, upper and lower case letters as this forms part of the password.

@MorphVR6 thanks, it worked , before yo said this i tryed everything you said and it didnt work but some one on a website said wack your xbox adapter on the table and that could of work but now it worked because i tryed one last time scaning again and it worked< the problem i think might be it is the light was red and whenever i typed my WPA code in it came up saying type in WPA2 code in when its on WPA and later when i did the xboxlive test it says i might be typing (SORRY RAN OUT OF SPACE)

When you say dropped, I take it you are just on about the adapter and not your xbox…….
If it is the adapter and the tapping method did not work then the cable inside has come out completely, you will need to open it.

OK.
Have you also checked the thin wire from the antenna onto the PCB, this is a lil, best described as a press stud type connection, also try connecting adapter into one of thes usb port on the front of your xbox.
Let me know what happens.
@MorphVR6 me and my dad tried pretty much everything, he could wiggle it around, and the light would turn red, green or yellow. but even then it wouldnt connect, he said he thinks there is something wrong with the motherboard.
for me the light wouldn’t even turn on but the tapping thing fixed it thx
Great video! I tried a bunch of stuff that didn’t work before coming across your video. The “Hard Tap Theory” fixed my problem right away! First shot after plugging in, light turns green.

ok just got the the adapter and the light blinks green but it wont connect to the internet on my router or the modem and the install disc is not working right now help me out plz

Is your light on red permanently?
If so please clear all your xbox wireless setting and rescan for your wifi network and re-enter passwords, this does not work, reboot your router and again clear and rescan for your network.

@MorphVR6 itz jus red but the thing is yea , if i go to network settings it just shows wired network or wireless network , and if i press wireless network with my adapter on it says connect one , so i dnt kno wat to do ??
