BENQ/Lite-On Xbox 360 Noisy DVD Drive Repair Video

This was only a temporoary repair, the main problem is the electric motor, the only way to get rid of the buzzing is to replace it. Anybody with a noisy xbox 360 should watch this if they want to repair their noisy drive. This method worked perfectly for me, I am without a video editor right now so i am just going to upload the raw video. Basically its the DVD player disc holding piece that is rubbing against the case. Normally this piece is plastic to prevent noise but on a benq drive its metal. I used chrome tape around where it scrapes to prevent anymore noise or rubbing. There is no longer any noise coming from my xbox when i play. Thanks for watching, fire me comments if you need help.

xbox 360 dvd disc drive won’t stay closed possible fix!!!

Here I am showing my xbox 360′s strange behavior…the disc tray will not stay closed…I make it work by pulling up on the spindle that spins the disc drives, and quickly throwing a cd and magnet on it…the laser only turns on after I pull up on it…very strange…anyone have a permanent fix? perhaps i’ll need to take it apart and adjust something…
